What is the CardiCard?
Because there is hardly ever an ambulance or a skilled person present in case of an emergency, it is crucial to start reanimation directly. The brain cells could be fatally damaged without providing reanimation within the first 4 to 6 minutes after an attack. If somebody would start reanimation within those first minutes, damage could be greatly reduced.
The CardiCard is a vocal card which gives clear instructions on how to handle a heart attack. It tells one precisely which steps to undertake when giving reanimation. Although 25% of the population aged 18+ followed a first aid course, it is proved that people are insecure about their reanimation skills.
The CardiCard can take this feeling of insecurity away! Even though a reanimation course remains to be crucial: the CardiCard gives fundamental support to people who are not trained.
The CardiCard is available in several languages. We supply the CardiCard standard in the English, German, Dutch, Spanish and French language. Other languages are available on request.
